Dear Perspective AP Human Geography Students:

I hope you are having a great 8th grade year, and I am looking forward to potentially having you in class next year. Attached is an

assignment for you to work on over the summer if you would like to start the year with some extra credit. The summer assignment is

mandatory to complete if you are to be considered for AP Human Geography. However, understand that completion of this assignment

DOES NOT guarantee a place in the class. There are a limited number of spots available. Factors to be considered in class selection are

GPA, Social Studies LEAP scores, and Teacher Recommendations as well as completion and quality of the mandatory summer assignment.
