French Language Proficiency - Double-Degree programs & French-taught courses Double-Degree and exchange students must acquire a minimum B1 level before their arrival (official certificate requested from home institution, or recent TCF / DELF tests) Double-Degree programs Supélec track - International pathway (Paris-Saclay campus) Most of the 2nd year core courses are held in English > the minimum language levels requested are : French : A1, English : B1. Master programs : depending on the requested program (see specific prerequisites)

Grading system CentraleSupélec uses the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS) : normal course load at

CentraleSupélec engineering program is 30 ECTS per semester. Grade scale: grades are awarded on a scale of 0 to 20, with 20 as the highest grade. The minimum passing grade is 10 to validate a module for exchange students.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

Nomination for

studies After selection, the International Office of their home university has to nominate their applicants by sending an email to CentraleSupélec (Ms. Verstraete or Ms Marcy, depending on the expected mobility) with their full name, birth date, nationality, mobility program, and email address.

Application for

nominated students Double Degree, Specialization & Exchange programs : nominated students will be contacted via e-mail and will receive instructions from the CentraleSupélec International

Office.

Research projects: applicants must take contact first with the laboratories and define their project. Then they can be nominated by their home institution.

Master programs :

Courses selection Depending on the mobility program, the course selection must be done when applying

(Exchange programs) or at the beginning of learning periods (degree programs). Exchange students are requested to register for a minimum of 24 ECTS per semester.

Visa : information about the visas proposed to non-EU International students, depending on the length of their stay and the mobility program, are available here : Residence permit (for stays longer than 12 months) Our Student Administration Office will help you get your Residence permit once you have arrived on campus and will organize all the appointments with the French administration in order for you to obtain your permit. The incoming students are responsible for paying for and obtaining the visa on time and any costs associated. Warning: bring originals AND copies of the requested documents.
