This institution was established after the name of a great illustrious son of our country, who had coined the famous slogan 'Jai Jawan Jai Kisan' and having been so named, it has to obviously become one of the premier institutions of the country and also an institution of excellence. The institution has already earned a very high reputation in the field of Sanskrit learning because of the rich contributions of many famous and erudite scholars of Sanskrit connected with it. But there is still much more to be achieved which could be done only when more zeal and energy are put to better use by all the stakeholders to revitalise the traditions of Sanskrit learning in this famous institution.
