About The Program
The BA/MA program allows selected undergraduate students from Barnard College to follow an intensive joint program
in the social sciences. Students generally apply to the BA/MA program during the second semester of their sophomore
year. Selected students spend their junior year at en-GBBarnard. Then during their senior year, students remain enrolled atBarnard
degree from Barnard. Then students remain a second year at Sciences Po to complete their master's degree from
five years.Students apply during the spring semester of their sophomore year and are "pre-accepted" to a master's program,
en-USmeaning that the program may specify that they maintain a certain GPA and/or complete an internship or certain types
of courses during the next two semesters. Then during the spring semester of their junior year these pre-accepted
students upload their official application to the Sciences Po admissions portal and their application is accepted as long
as they have followed the guidelines set out by the master's program a year earlier. Sophomore year application materials (to be submitted directly to Barnard):Current CV/Resume

Study Plan (one page) detailing the classes the student intends to take during their junior year at Barnard to help
prepare for the chosen program at Sciences Po, the type of internships she plans to pursue over the next two
summers, and which classes she would like to take at Sciences Po (non-binding). We want to make sure the applicant
has a plan and that she has taken a look at the curriculum being offered by the Sciences Po program she is applying to.If the program at Sciences Po is a French track the student must submit French language test results during their
junior year: TCF 500 or DALF C1Deadline: end of January 2021

Students pay Barnard tuition during their senior year and Sciences Po tuition during their fifth and final year. Sciences
