Helping You Access the Ontario Autism Program

In April, 2019, the Government of Ontario announced direct funding for families to pay for autism services for their children. This new funding is called a Childhood Budget. What services can I purchase with my Childhood Budget?

Services include:

• Behavioural services • Family supports • Travel• Speech language services • Occupational therapy• Physiotherapy • Respite • Technology

How do I get the Childhood Budget?

If your child is registered with OAP,

you will get a letter asking you to apply within the next 18 months. There is nothing further you need to do.

If you are not registered with OAP

but your child has a diagnosis of ASD, contact the Ministry"s central intake at

1-888-444-4530

or oap@ontario.ca

If you don't know if you are registered,

please contact Surrey Place at

416-925-5141.I got a letter to apply for a Childhood Budget - what now?

1. Complete your online application within

90 days.

2. If you have questions about how to ?ll out the application, pleas
