Judging Criteria, Selection Process, Rules of the CompetitionJudging Criteria:Judges of repute will select entries based on the following:Technique:Precision and body awareness coupled with strong foundationsOriginality & Suitability: The dance is in tune with the level of the dancer and is performedaccordingly. There is an organic process involved in the learning of the dance to suit the leveland ability of the dancer.Overall Presentation:Execution, Artistic Interpretation & Representation of the choreographyand styles.Musicality: Dancing not just to the beat but beyond by experimenting and playing with theintricate beats of the music.Creativity: Bringing fresh and raw ideation to the table and showcasing out of the box thinkingin their performance.Selection Procedure:1.Ten entries from each category will feature in theshortlistedfinal.2.Three winners shall be selected from each category. Winners can avail a dance workshopfrom one of thejuries.Rules of the Competition:1. All the videos should be a recording of the authentic work of students.2. Each video entry should be sent along with a title, one-line description with the names of the dancestyles.3. The winning videos may be displayed on the School Facebook page/website/other web pages.4. Each entry should have the following details mentioned:Name of the participant, Age, Category and School name.5. Entries to be mailed by Round Square Representatives of the School only.6. Plagiarism is not permitted and will lead to disqualification of the entry. Dances choreographed by thestudent"s dance teacher or choreographer are preferred.7. No profanity or inappropriate words to be used in the music.8.
