Function : We use "if clause type 3" to talk about unreal conditions in the past.It's not possible to change

the situation anymore. Structure : If + Past Perfect , would have / could have / might have + Past Participle

Examples :

If I had studied hard enough for the exam , I would have got a better mark. (I got a bad mark in the exam.
