Warp and alkali-resistant glass fibre mesh. Tested system component for the reinforcement of Baumit renders onto Baumit external wall insulation (EWI) systems. Use Reinforcing mesh as a reinforcement for Baumit EWI systems. To produce reinforced mortar layer on torn old rendered facades to protect render systems. Can be used diagonally to give extra protection at, e.g. building openings doors and windows.Properties

Alkal-resistant.

Glass fibre
mesh with special build to give tear and warp resistance.Dimensionally stable and alkali-resistant.

Application
Lay the Baumit StarTex Coarse wet-in-wet into the reinforcement basecoat render ensuring it is free from bubbles or folds. Position so that it lies within the upper third of the thickness of the reinforcing coat.Do not cut on the roll.

Storage
Baumit StarTex Coarse should be stored under normal climactic conditions. It should not be unusually dry nor unusually frozen for application. Ensure that Baumit StarTex Coarse is stored so that it cannot be misshapen. Misshapen or damaged Baumit StarTex Coarse cannot be used.General Information
