1 -GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS
Flux BC340 contains 25% of activated rosin. It conforms to standard NFC 90550 in the RA class (Rosin Activated), J-std ROM1. 2 -PHYSIOCHEMICAL CHARACTERISTICS
- Solution : Alcoholised - Colouration : Dark Honey - Density at 20°C : 0.850 - Efficiency (SAR) : Angle < 30° - grade III - Water washing : Insoluble - Alcohol washing : Very soluble - Flash point : 18°C - Dry extract : 25.5% - Chlorine rate : 1 % - Acidity : IA = 50 mg/g 3-INSTRUCTION OF USE
Flux BC340 may be used for manual
dipping or foam fluxing applications in all types of automaticflow soldering machines. Due to its concentration, this flux reduces the formation of icicles, craters and
facilitates good capillary rise of solder in metallised plated through holes. Preheat temperature after fluxing should be between 90° and 100°C to give a good activation. Any remaining residues can be cleaned efficiently leaving no surface film, by means of alcoholised solvent.Maintenance of the flux density is achieved by adding dilutant D305 to within the limits of S.G. 0.846
