The exact dates are published on the login -page of myStudies. Students that were registered before will receive an email to re -register a month before the registration period.

Registering for courses

Students must register for courses to be attended at ETH Zurich via myStudies (www.mystudies.ethz.ch). Course registration does not mean that you have been automatically registered for the examination(s). Registration via myStudies does not take any special course admission conditions into consideration.

In such cases, you must contact the lecturer.

Registering for examinations

Please note:

• To register for an exam, you must be enrolled for the corresponding course in myStudies. • Please refer to the ETH Zurich provisions regarding registration, deregistration and taking examinations. There are three different types of performance assessments at ETH Zurich. See • Session examinations are held during the semester break. You must register for these

examinations in myStudies. The Examinations Office will inform you about the date and location of the

exam(s) (published in myStudies). • End-of-semester examinations are held immediately before or after the semester ends. You must register for these examinations in myStudies. The lecturers will inform you directly about the details of the exam (date, location, regulations). • Graded or ungraded semester performance assessments: They generally involve performance assessments conducted during the semester, or performance assessmen ts conducted outside the regular semester schedule (e.g. block courses). No separate registration is required. However, students must enroll in the corresponding course. The type of performance assessment is published in the course catalogue (www.course- catalogue.ethz.ch ) under course unit.

Examination results

The responsible ETH Zurich Study Administration Office regularly notifies students by email regarding their examination results. Your study achievements and the number of credits you earned are recorded in myStudies ("transcript of records"). Examination results are sent regularly by the ETH Rectorate to the responsible faculty at the

University of Zurich.
