Ski Trip 2020
I am writing to inform you of an exciting opportunity available to your son/daughter. I am running a ski trip to St Anton, Austria during the Easter holidays, Friday 3rd April ² Friday 10th April 2020. The cost of the trip will be £925. This price will include travel by coach between school and the resort, insurance, accommodation, all meals, evening entertainment, ski equipment and five four hour lessons with an English speaking instructor and a ski trip hoody. The trip will be open to all years however if you are aged 18 at the time of the trip there is an extra cost of £50. This trip will run on a first come, first served basis, so if your son/daughter would like to join us, please return the attached form to finance ASAP, but no later than 15th February. Please note that if we do not get a minimum number of 24 for the trip it will not go ahead and you will receive your deposit back. Once you receive a letter to state that there are enough students for the ski trip to run however your deposit will then become non-refundable. At this point I would also like to bring the payment plan to your attention. We ask for a £200 non-refundable deposit payable via parentpay and 4 further payments due on the following dates: - Deposit of £200 by 15th February 2019 - 1st payment of £200 by 30th April 2019 - 2nd payment of £200 by 10th July 2019 - 3rd payment of £200 by 30th September 2019 - Final payment of £125 by 30th November 2019 Alternatively, if you would like to pay larger sums less frequently, or the entire amount in one go, please feel free as long as all outstanding payments are made by the each of the 4 deadlines. For the rest of the payments we have now introduced the online payment system ParentPay for all trips, events and resources. Please use the same logon account and password that you use for school meals at www.parentpay.com. The cancellation fees are the following: - Day of 10 weeks before travel: 50% refund - Day of 2 weeks before travel: 70% refund - Day of departure: 100% refund In order to be eligible for the trip all students are required to travel on their own valid passports and must be in possession of a European Health Card. If your son/daughter would like to go on the trip could you complete both forms (attached) and hand it in to the finance team to secure a place on the trip: In February 2020 on a date to be arranged there will be a meeting to discuss the details of the trip but if you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me.
