Rolls and Descriptions

Anna

Filled with a tremendous amount of light, energy, and love, Anna is a hopelessly optimistic extrovert at

all ages, but as she grows older, she longs for connection with others, especially her sister, Elsa. She is

warm and determined and requires a very strong singer with great comedic timing and solid line delivery. Songs: For the First Time in Forever, Love is an Open Door, For the First Time in Forever - Reprise, Colder by the Minute, Finale - Part 1 & 2 Elsa Next in line for the throne, Elsa has been born with magical powers that can overwhelm her when she becomes afraid, and harm others if not handled with care. Fearful of hurting anyone, especially her beloved sister, Anna, Elsa becomes anxious and withdrawn as she grows older, before eventua lly learning to take control of, and become confident in, her powers. Requires a very strong singer and actor who can portray both Elsa's restrained nature and confident regal stature. Songs: For the First Time in Forever, Dangerous to Dream, Let It Go, For the First Time in Forever - Reprise, Colder by the Minute, Finale - Part 1 & 2

Kristoff

Kristoff is a hardworking ice harvester with a sarcastic veneer and a rough-around-the-edges exterior

that hides a big heart. Taken in by the Hidden Folk when he was young, he loves Pabbie and Bulda

dearly, but is a bit of a loner with a reindeer for a best friend- until he meets Anna. Requires a strong

singer and actor who can balance a cynical sense of humor with charming banter. Songs: Reindeer(s) Are Better Than People, Kristoff's Joik, Colder by the Minute Hans

Hans is an ambitious Prince of the Southern Isles and overlooked thirteenth son of a king. He constantly

strives to find a way to make good and stand out, boasting an exceedingly charming facade that fools

everyone - including the audience - into believing he's Prince Charming, when really, he's just a jerk.

Requires a very strong actor who can play both sides of this two-faced prince, as well a strong singer

who is comfortable singing in harmony. Songs: Love Is An Open Door, Colder by the Minute Olaf The magical snowman created by Anna and Elsa when they were young, Olaf is endearingly delighted by

everything - especially the idea of summer. Goofy and sweet, Olaf should possess a childlike innocence

and excellent comic timing. A strong singer is a bonus, but not required as personality and stage

presence is more important for this character than singing. Body language and movement is important a

well as the actor will more than likely not wear an Olaf costume, but instead operate an Olaf puppet.

Songs: In Summer

Sven The part of Sven is a silent roll requiring an exceptionally strong physical actor, who can portray emotion, reaction, and comedy though body movement and stage presence alone.

Featured Choir

The Featured Choir is made up of 10 performers who sing the bulk of the shows harmonies and accompaniment parts. Requires exceptionally strong male and female singers who have good musical ears and who are comfortable singing in multi -part harmony. Snowman?'.

A visiting duke who possesses a huge inferiority complex. A bombastic, overbearing man, Weselton's sole purpose is to hobnob with influencers and royalty. Requires a strong actor who can portray the narrow-minded naysayer with over-the-top gusto. A non-singing roll.

Pabbie & Bulda

Mystical leader
