This summer assignment is designed to be very practical, get you organized for the course, and to start you off on the

right foot in AP Human Geography. So here's how you get started for the summer:

Part I: Vocab (25 points)

Print the list of the first 10 words of Unit I vocabulary words and define them using the AP Quizlet website

www.quizlet.com (search for AP Human Geography) or the review material you purchase.

For the vocabulary, you will fill in the definition of the word and then provide an example or drawing. The

example needs to be a real world application of the definition or could be an explanation of an image/graph/visual. See the example provided below.

The AP exam focuses on not only vocab and their definitions, but being able to identify or provide examples of
