class is characterized by a minimum 30% reduction in the bearing's frictional moment when compared to an SKF basic design bearing

reaches values of at least 50% in the Y-bear- ings within this performance class featured by a new contacting seal, developed on purpose, and a new, low-friction grease. .

Longer service life lowers cost

Optimized to reduce frictional losses in the

bearing, SKF Energy Efficient Y-bearings can last as long as comparably basic design bearings

Depending on the operating condi

tions, the bearing can run up to 30 °C (55 °F) when compared to an SKF basic design bearing
