Step 1 - Verify with your class instructor that an Adobe home use license is available for you.

At the beginning of each semester,

instructors request

Adobe home use licenses

under the Personal Account option, for their classes that need Adobe. To verify if an Adobe license has been requested for you, please contact your class instructor, or check with the ITS Help Desk at helpdesk@rsccd.edu. The Adobe license will be associated with your student email address ending in @student.sac.edu or @student.sccollege.edu.

Follow Step 2 to login to your student email.

Step 2 - Login to your student email account at

https://outlook.office.com Login to your student email address at Outlook Online, at the website https://outlook.office.com. Your student email address is the same one you use to login to Canvas with, ending in @student.sac.edu or @student.sccollege.edu

Apps" email from Adobe.

**Troubleshooting Tips Issue 1: I did not receive the "Get Started" email from Adobe! If you did not receive the "Get Started" email from Adobe, you can try the following:

1. Check the Junk Email or Deleted Items folder at https://outlook.office.com

2. Use the "search" bar at https://outlook.office.com to look for emails from

Adobe.

3. Proceed directly to the https://creativecloud.adobe.com website and try

to login as shown in Step 5 (with "Personal Account" option). a. If you have a licensed account, the Adobe website will prompt you for a verification code during login, which will be sent to your student email address at https://outlook.office.com. i. You will need to login to the student email at https://outlook.office.com and check for that verification code email from Adobe. ii. If you can't find the verification code email from Adobe, check the Junk Email or Deleted Items folder, or use the "search" bar to find emails from Adobe. iii. If you were never prompted for a verification code, or were never prompted to select the "Personal Account" login option , see the steps for:

Issue 3: I do not see the "FCCC

- Foundation for California Community Colleges" business profile when using the

Personal Account login!

If you were not able to find the "Get Started" email, and the direct login at https://creativecloud.adobe.com did not work, please contact the ITS Help Desk at helpdesk@rsccd.edu so we can check the status of your Adobe license.

Issue 2: I am getting trial or buy now options when logging into Adobe site!

If your Adobe Apps show as

"Start free trial," "Try," or "Buy" , you are likely signed in with the wrong account option (for “Company or School account").

To fix

this:

1. Select the Account icon.

2. Select Sign Out.

3. Sign in again with the Personal Account option.

4. Select the FCCC - Foundation for California Community Colleges profile.

Issue 3: I do not see the "FCCC - Foundation for California Community Colleges" business profile when using the Personal Account login! If you do not see the "FCCC - Foundation for California Community Colleges" business profile when logging in with the "Personal Account" option, please try using the Company or school accoun t option to login instead. NOTE: In some anomalous cases, Adobe will license your account under the "Company or school account" option instead of the Personal Account option.

To fix this:

1. Go to https://creativecloud.adobe.com and login with your student email

address as the username.

2. If prompted, select "Company or School Account" instead of Personal

Account.

3. If prompted, login with your Single sign-on username and password (this

is the same login page used for Self-Service and Canvas).

4. If prompted, select "FCCC - Foundation for California Community

Colleges" business profile.

5. Once you have logged in, see if you can access all of the Adobe Apps as

shown in

Step 8.

Note on Adobe Personal Account availability (until end of semester)

Your Adobe

Personal Account

license will be made available to you for the current semester only, and for a grace period of 1 week after the semester ends.

After that

grace period, the Adobe Personal Account license will be revoked for your account, and you will receive an email from Adobe, with the subject line "You no longer have access to All Apps". The Adobe Personal Account license will not be made available to this account again unless you take another class at Rancho Santiago that requires an Adobe license. In this case, wait until the beginning of the semester to login to Adobe Creative Cloud again following the steps in this guide, starting at Step 1.quotesdbs_dbs17.pdfusesText_23
