and your Heart with Paula d'Arcy, Gernot Candolini and Jennifer Brandon

Sunday, May 6th - Saturday, May 12th 2018

The program starts at Sunday May 6th 5 p.m. in Chartres and ends in Chartres May 12th at

8:30. To make your travel plans you will get additional information.

Chartres is one of the most beautiful and

energetic places on earth. We will be invited to enter into the wonderful symbolism of the whole building, the stained glass windows and the labyrinth.

Our journey will start in Chartres with a

welcome reception and dinner. The next day we will take a short trainride to a village ouside of Chartres and walk towards the cathedral. We will pass through the Peace Park "Anne Frank". To complete our pilgrims experience we will enter the cathedral through the crypt as many people did before us. The next day we will be introduce to the many inspiring and symbolic aspects of the cathedral. We will stop at the window of Mary Magdalena to hear her story and be introduced to our daytrip to Vezelay the next day. The cathedral of Vezelay is dedicated to Mary Magdalena and her relics are buried in the crypt. It is one of the most important Romanesque churches with many stories around it. We will take a bus to this special place. Being back we have two more days in Chartres to walk the labyrinth and experience this wonderful place from many different sides.

Preday: It is possible to arrive in Chartres on May 5th (Amount of rooms are prebooked, given away in order of application)

Gernot Candolini is a leading labyrinthbuilder in Europe and headmaster of the Montessorischool in Innsbruck. He is author of several books, one is available in english. Every year he leads several groups to Chartres. He is a great storyteller and guide to the cathedral of Chartres. Jennifer is a music teacher and singer. She has enjoyed working with people of all ages in churches, schools, and on retreats. Her own pilgrimage to Chartres was life-changing, and she loves to walk alongside other pilgrims to encourage their own transformation experiences.
