About the Artists
Born and raised in Northeast Philadelphia, STEPHEN ACOSTA has been immersed in music his entire life, and is a recent graduate of the Boyer College, where he studied voice performance. Stephen is an avid pianist and enjoys writing songs about his experiences. SAVANNAH WHITTENBURG is currently pursuing a master's in voice performance at the Boyer College. Post-graduation, she hopes to use her opera training in both classical and musical theatre performances. She loves to unwind with her hobbies: reading, writing, listening to music and eating fruit. She's excited to perform in the Spanish Heritage concert with her friends! DANIEL ARBOLEDA is a Colombian- American tenor currently finishing his masters in voice performance at the Boyer College. After a short break post undergrad, he spent a few years working and participating in choirs for churches and for several performances including Bizet's Carmen and Mozart's Don Giovanni. He has also starred as Monostatos in Mozart's The Magic Flute. When not singing, Daniel enjoys studying different cultures, especially discovering their food! JASON GARCIA-KAKUK is a junior voice performance major studying with Dr. Marcus DeLoach at the Boyer College. Jason has recently sung in the Temple University Opera Theaters' 2019productions of Montiverdi's Il ritorno d'Ulisse in patria and Donizetti's L'elisir d'amore. Last fall, he
also sang in A Modern Reveal's Herstory, a riveting Charles Library recital featuring vocal works by women composers.quotesdbs_dbs12.pdfusesText_18
