Dear Future Martin Eagle and Family,
Thank you for expressing interest in the Innovation Academy at Martin Middle School (IAM)! IAM has a mission to provide a diverse and rigorous learning environment, with an emphasis in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM) careers, ensuring every student will be able to design, create, and communicate solutions for real world challenges. For the 2018-2019 school year, the Innovation Academy has grown to six cohorts across 6th-8th grades with a total of 150 students. Acceptance will be based upon the following student materials: • application form • short answer responses (3) • essay response (1) • grades • STAAR or standardized test performance (if applicable) • teacher recommendations (2) • extra-curricular involvement • interview
Incomplete applications will not be considered.
We are excited to inform you that the IAM application window for the
