For manuscripts dealing with synthetic bioactive compounds, the Journal requires that the molecular target of the compounds described must be known, and must be demonstrated experimentally in the manuscript.

Bioorganic chemistry, Chemical biology and Biotechnology related to RNA, Translation, and Peptides.
All members of the Editorial Board have identified their affiliated institutions or organizations, along with the corresponding country or geographic region.
Elsevier remains neutral with regard to any jurisdictional claims.
