The Business Management SL IA is an assessment designed to test students' understanding of the material they have learned in their business management course and their ability to conduct independent research.
What is the IB business IA?
The IB Business IA examines an organization from any industry and the social-economic and political environments in which it functions.
The IA works with issues that arise inside businesses, where students gain a reasonable understanding via case studies.
What is the word limit for business management IA?
The word limit is 1800 words and it’s out of 25 marks.
The Business Management IA requirements (and the rubric) are now the same for SL and HL students.
For SL students, it’s worth 30% of your final grade, but it’s only worth 20% of the final grade for HL students.
