Community health downtown

The Downtown CHC is staffed with ICTs to serve people in the Downtown Eastside who experience barriers accessing services, have no primary care provider and are challenged by complex health concerns (including psycho-social, physical, mental health and addiction co-morbidities)

In 2014, Horizon and the University of New Brunswick (UNB) Community Health Clinic formed a partnership to create the Fredericton Downtown Community Health Centre (FDCHC)

This is a teaching facility that delivers an integrated program in which primary health care services, teaching and research are combined
