Nca criminal law practice exam

To pass the examination candidates are expected to identify the relevant issues, select and identify the material rules of law including:

NCA applicants study on their own for the NCA exams (i.e. without help from the NCA).
You are also responsible for getting your own study materials and developing your strategy for studying.
If you need help, you can hire a private tutor or some other study service.
The NCA provides several ways to help you prepare for NCA online exams.

The NCA allows three (3) hours in total for completion of each exam.
NCA exams are open-book.
Only hard copy study materials will be permitted; you will NOT have access to electronic copies of your notes or textbooks.
The examination will be graded on a pass/fail basis (50% is a pass). 3 hours.

The majority of case law and legislative resources needed by NCA students are available on CanLII, the free legal information resource funded by the Federation of Law Societies of Canada (www.canlii.org).
That includes ,all decisions of the Supreme Court of Canada, and all federal, provincial, territorial and appellate courts.
