What happens to the food made in culinary school?

At some, the food they prepared is eaten and “graded” by themselves, their peers, and their instructors.
Other schools have made arrangements to donate the food to a local orphanage or “old folks home.” Still others serve to to their customers who may or may not be aware their meals were prepared by undergraduates..
