What is the difference between natural heritage and cultural heritage?
In this thesis the term heritage is used to describe both 'natural heritage', comprising of the environment that makes up the world's ecosystems, and 'cultural heritage', comprising of human created works such as buildings, crafts, languages, and traditions (Lowenthal, 2006)..
The cultural divisions within society and our cultural heritage impact upon the family and society as a whole, for example where we come from, origin, religion, how we live, where we live and how we speak.
This also relates within single parent, polygamous, same-sex or monogamous family situations.
