Dance has always been a part of human culture, rituals and celebrations.
Today, most dancing is about recreation and self-expression, although it can also be done as a competitive activity.
Dancing is an enjoyable way to be more physically active and stay fit..

  • What is a dot 2 dance?

Dot2dance is designed as a circle to aide in what is commonly referred to as "Spotting" when doing dance/ballet turns like A La Seconde, Pirouettes and Fouettes.
The back of dot2dance is a specially engineered Non-Slip GYM MAT..

  • What is Dot 2 dance?

dot2dance is a lightweight and portable genuine dance floor in the shape of a circle.
Ingeniously covered in typical dance studio flooring, called “Marley”.
It creates your own private mobile dance studio anytime or anyplace A leading reason why dancers get injured is practicing or warming up on the wrong surface..

  • Preparing to turn, a dancer fixes the head and gaze toward a visual object at eye level as the body begins to rotate.
When the head reaches maximal rotation and the fixation can no longer be sustained, the head quickly rotates, overtaking the body to return to the same spot.
This technique is known as spotting.
  • When assembled side by side, two sheets of plywood will make the perfect sized dance floor for home use in a carpeted room.
If you want the dance floor to be lighter and a bit easier to move, have the hardware store cut each sheet down to 3.5x8 ft (1x2. 4 m).
Determine which sides will be your dance surface.

Dancing Dots Braille Music Technology is an American company based in Philadelphia that was founded in 1992 to develop and adapt music technology for the blind.
Its founder, Bill McCann, is a blind musician.
Among the products it offers are several programs that produce a musical version of Braille by converting print musical notation, allowing blind musicians access to the scores used by their sighted counterparts.
The company also offers programs that aid blind musicians in transcribing their compositions to Braille.
Dancing Dots created the latter products to help speed the process of Braille transcription for blind composers, who might otherwise have to wait between two weeks and six months to have their compositions transcribed by one of the less than one hundred certified Braille music transcribers in the United States.

2004 single by Fatboy Slim

Slash Dot Dash is a song by English big beat musician Fatboy Slim, released as a single from his album Palookaville.
Cook himself plays bass guitar on the track.
It also appeared on Fatboy Slim's greatest hits album The Greatest Hits – Why Try Harder.
The single peaked at number 12 on the UK Singles Chart, number six in Spain, and number 27 in Italy.
The original version of the track, contained on an advance US copy of the album, uses a different vocal sample which was possibly changed due to sample clearance issues.
