  • Can you work as a dental assistant without being certified in Massachusetts?

    A person who is at least 18 years of age or older, who has not been previously licensed or registered as a dentist, dental hygienist or dental assistant and who is not in violation of any rule or regulation adopted by the board may practice as a dental assistant under the supervision of a Massachusetts licensed dentist .

  • Students putting in 6-11 hours of study time per week can expect to complete the program anywhere from 8-16 weeks.
    Tuition includes the NWCA test voucher.
    Beyond the NWCA exam, students may also pursue the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB) Radiology Health and Safety (RHS) Examination.

The full day clinic, Clinic E, course also meets the requirements for the state of New Hampshire
