List of dermatology terms

Just like all fields of medicine, dermatology comes with its own set of terms and jargon to describe various skin ailments.
Some of them you will probably be familiar with, such as:

1. acne or fillers

Others, such as:cysts and polyps, might be more of a mystery.

Dermis:

1. The middle layers of skin
2. which consists largely of collagen and elastin and supports the upper layers known as the epidermis

Distant:Cancer has spread from the original tumor and beyond the lymph nodes closest to the original tumor to other lymph nodes and/or organs.
