The 22nd annual IEEE International Conference on Bioinformatics and Bioengineering aims at building synergy between Bioinformatics and Bioengineering
Therefore, IEEE BIBE 2022 will no longer take place in Taichung Taiwan and will instead take place virtually. The conference dates remain the same – November 7-9, 2022. Proceedings will not be cancelled, and publications will continue as planned.

The BBTC shall engage in various activities in order to promote the wider acceptance of computational intelligence as a viable technology, including but not limited to the following:.
1) Organize special sessions for CIS-sponsored conferences.
2) Participate in paper reviews and selection for CIS-sponsored conferences.
3) Nominate lecturers for the CI.

The Bioinformatics and Bioengineering Technical Committee (BBTC) is established to promote the research, development, education, and understanding of computational intelligence methods in the application areas of bioinformatics, bioengineering, and computational biology.

After evaluating the ongoing COVID-19 situation, the decision has been made to transform the IEEE BIBE 2022 conference into an all-digital conference experience – IEEE BIBE 2022 will now be an online event.
