The first grade Judaic curriculum consists of Tefillah, Hebrew reading, The fourth grade curriculum consists of Tefillah, Chumash, Rashi, Navi, Mishna, Dinim,
and how they find value in learning the language of the Jewish people. In 4th grade our students delve into
intensive decoding (putting sounds to the letters/symbols) and end the year with being able to blend letters and
vowels together to decode and sing 2-3 of our basic prayers. Hebrew is required for all students in 3rd 6th GradeWeekly tfillah- one of the most important ways to gain prayer leading skills and hear the sounds of
prayer that they will need to use to lead in the future Specialists (Hebrew through Movement) and Hebrew learning support Jewish Life Vocabulary infused into tfillah and classroom activities Classes of 6-8 peopleWeekly practice activities at home will be provided and these are recommended for consistent progress
and success*Weekly Hebrew from the comfort and ease of your home- all classes will always be held online. This program
comes with an additional fee.Choose times that fit into your schedule in a more flexible way (based on a survey of your preferences)
Classes are taught by teachers who are studying to become rabbis and cantors across the country. This
program is part of a new partnership we have made with Online Jewish Learning to provide this option.
Small group learning cohorts of 3-5 students 30 minute sessionsPrivate tutoring is an option after approval by Director of Education. Private tutoring is for students with
extenuating circumstances and/or those who have significant learning needs that require individual attention.
