Dear Friends,

You might be wondering how we make connections with new leaders around the world. There are a few ways, and during the pandemic, we have had to adjust. Here is an example: 1. Two leaders in Singapore found DJJ online. 2. They attended the nine-hour Partnership Training Event last December. 3. One connected us to the leader of the Philippine Council of Evangelical Churches, which has 40,000 member churches. 4. The Philippines' leader is now advertising our next Headquarter-led Partnership Training Event in May! Also, the Singapore leaders have become DJJ Ambassadors, meaning they can use Partnership

Training to train about discipleship and introduce this ministry to others. In addition, they recommend

others who have gone through the training and meet the requirements to become Ambassadors. DJJ

is creating a network of trainers and disciple-makers around the world. You can see other Ambassadors on the website under About>Staff> and then look under the Partnership Team and the

countries represented. In the future, we will have Ambassadors in dozens and dozens of countries!

Due to time differences, those leaders in Singapore were joining the DJJ Partnership Training from 11 PM to 2 AM (their local time.) Wow, that is dedication! In May, the upcoming Partnership Training

will be at a more reasonable time for Asia and still a good time for the USA and others. The dates and times can be found on the next page. You are invited! If you have other leaders who might be interested, please connect us with them by emailing service@djjministry.org.. Networking with Leaders Around the World

Dr. Mark Alan Williams

Founder and President

April 2021

After the December Partnership Event on Zoom, I was invited to share a portion of that training for a group of churches in Barbados Afterward, the coordinator said it "exceeded expectations." Praise God! As an Ambassador, he will also be teaching our Partnership Training to introduce others to our ministry. If you would like to connect DJJ with other leaders or groups or invite Dr. Mark to speak to your conference, retreat, or other gatherings, please email service@djjministry.org

Ministry Value Number Five: Stewardship

So far, we have introduced you to:

• Value One: Strategic Partnerships.

We provide a resource for strategic partners to multiply disciples.

• Value Two: Ministry to the most spiritually needy. We focus on providing free digital materials where they are most needed. • Value Three: Excellence. We seek to be the best we can and do the best we can for the Lord Jesus. • Value Four: Spirit and Truth. We minister in the power of the Spirit and faithfulness to the teachings of Scripture. Now, for the next ministry value. Value Five: Stewardship. We recognize that we do not own anything; it all belongs to God. As Christ's disciples, we are stewards of the Gospel (1 Corinthians 4:1-2), our bodies (1 Corinthians 6:19-20), our resources (Proverbs 3:9), and together, we are stewards of Discipleship Journeys with Jesus' resources. In daily practice, this means that we must be good stewards of everything entrusted to DJJ, which includes: Mission: We give account to one another and our Board of Directors for the Money: We seek to spend the money entrusted to DJJ like the widow's mite and not a rich person's excess. Materials ways possible. We recognize that one day "Yes, each of us will give a personal account to God." (Romans 14:12 NLT) 1. Our 9th translation is now on the website for download! New Testament Quarter 1 in Ateso is available. This language covers an estimated 279,000 people in Kenya and over 1.57 million people in Uganda.

2. New Testament Quarter 2 lessons are undergoing a revision that should be available to

download from the website later this month. Translations in Russian and Portuguese have already begun.

3. New donors have given towards translations which will result in DJJ translating lessons

into two major languages!

4. Our test groups have been working hard behind the scenes on New Testament Quarter 2

revisions, Quarter 4, and Old Testament Quarters 2 and 3 new lessons. This testing is an essential part of the process as DJJ strives to offer discipleship lessons that work well for everyone worldwide.

5. Future translation releases to be available on the website shortly include Hindi, Swahili,

Kirundi, and Runyakitara.

6. In addition to those translations, we have translators currently working on New Testament
