You have made and confirmed your reservations for a fun-filled camping e xperience with your Girl Scouts, and now you are ready to go camping! ŊŊĿŊŊŊŊŊŊŊĪŊĥŊefore you pack your cars and head to camp, please review these important camp procedures and regu

lations so that your trip goes smoothly.Ŋ• Ensure that every driver is an approved adult volunteer with a good driv

ing record, a valid license, and a registered/ insured vehicle. (Refer to Form F-477 Driver Checklist and Volunteer Essentials , Chapter 4, Safety-Wise) • Remember the travel folder for each car transporting girls! (Refer to V olunteer Essentials, Chapter 4, Safety-Wise) • Check gate closing times. Please refer to your confirmation letter for a ccess to camps and after-hours accessŊ information. • You cannot enter the camp without a list of the names for your group plu s any program consultants arriving at separateŊ time, to leave with the reserve ranger at check in. Please have your amping , camp kitchen certification card (if appropriate) and first aid/CPR/AED certification card • Prohibited Items: (see Volunteer Essentials, Chapter 7, Trips, Travel, Camping) •AlcoholCigarettes eCigarettes (vaping)Firearms • Please check for fire ban postings at the entrance to each camp and be prepared to cook without fire. The reserve ranger is a valuable source of information about conditions at the camp and emergency procedures upon your arrival. No vehicles will be allowed beyond the camp parking lot.ŊAll vehicles must be parked in camp-designated parking spots • Campers may not ride in the carts. • Quiet time begins at 10 p.m. Moving about camp is to be done quietly out of respect for other troops or groups in camp. Lights out is at midnight. • Practice fire safety at all times! No fires of any kind in tents. • Bring firewood with you to camp, just to be prepared. • Any wood lying on the ground may be used for cooking or for campfires. •Do not cut any branches from standing trees.
