Amadeus Selling Platform Connect

Notes:

Edge, IE, FireFox and Chrome validated with Windows OS.

Safari validated with Mac OS

IE 8,9 & 10 not supported with Amadeus Selling Platform Connect

Transport Layer Security 1.2 (TLS)

PCI recommendation is to have TLS1.0 removed

by February 2018. TLS 1.2 is already supported on server-side by Amadeus

TLS 1.2 is supported with:

o Microsoft Edge / Windows 10 o Internet Explorer 11 with Windows 7, 8, 8.1, 10, Server

2008 R2, 2012 and 2012 R2

o Firefox 27 and newer o Chrome 30 and newer o Safari 7 and newer TLS 1.2 must be enabled manually, if needed (IE 8-10 and Fire- fox <30). After this date, it will not be possible to access the applications with a browser that does not support TLS 1.2. Customers with IE7 and/or Windows XP and Vista must mandatorily upgrade to a newer version of browser/OS.

Cookie management can affect Two Factor Authentication mecha- nism. Cache Management can affect response time.

Recommendation is to add an exception to not delete any cookies reg- istered under domain http://www.sellingplatformconnect.amadeus.com

Popup Blocker

Popup blocker exception needs to be added for the multi office feature in Selling Platform connect. Add *.amadeus.com or *.sellingplatformconnect.amadeus.com do- main.

In order to use the web-based printing, Adobe Reader plug-in have to be installed and activated with IE11 and Firefox. No configuration needed with Chrome and Edge browsers.

Windows Administrator.

If 2 instances of Sell Connect are running in parallel (ex. in different browser tabs), only the first instance will support Plus Script. Subsequently launched SECO sessions will automatically have Plus Script support deactivated

Installing the Scripting API Plugin

If Amadeus Selling Platform is already installed on the PC where Amadeus Selling Platform

Connect will be accessed:

o If version < 7.2P700: it is mandatory to install the Scripting API 1.0P606 o If version >=7.2P700: nothing needs to be done as the Scripting API is included in the configuration. The Scripting API is installed automatically with the client version of Selling Platform, but can also be installed manually via a download. The Scripting API can be installed directly in Sell Connect via the menu Help, Plus Script

Plugin Installation:

When accessing the new Selling Platform Connect URL for the first time in Internet Explorer, you may be prompted to install the Amadeus + Script Plugin. Click Install and accept all prompts to ensure that all required files are installed and updated.
