Seasons Workbench

Crop Seasons is an agricultural period of time for a complete production cycle, meaning the period from
the beginning of a seed planting throughout a crop growing to the final harvest produce. The CropSeasons workbench is a collection of data for the specific crop and respective terrain including the validity
periods for related crop processes (planting/pollination/irrigation/maintenance/harvesting).Crop Rotation
Rotation Same land extension with different varieties of planting frequently rotated.Process Cycle Workbench
Process Cycle functionality allows identifying steps involved in the producing different types of crop. Process
Cycle is a collection of the crop processes, order levels and process priorities that help to determine the
planting and harvest timeframes. Crop Process might involve multiple steps from seeding to irrigation and
harvesting.Terrain Workbench
Terrain Workbench allows users to create a functional location of the land/territory and assign necessary
terrain characteristics such as owner of the land, attributes of the land (soil type, type of crop can be

Crop Master Workbench
Crop Master Workbench allows users to create crop master data for specific crops. Crop is the actualproduce (vegetable, fruit or cereal plant) to be cultivated and harvested on the fields. The solution allows
various crop types (e.g. short, medium and long term) for multi-crop production. The Crop Master

This functionality is based on the crop process variant(s) such as seed process or nursery process. Multiple
variants might be assigned to the Crop cycle. Each crop process variant is assigned a crop process. Crop

The Produce Receipt Workbench allows users to record data associated to a scale weighting process that
transfer the yard material into a receiver material for further processing. It allows assigning equipment
and weighted scales with corresponding crop and terrain. It also collects crop quality and control data.

Business Script Formula
Vistex scripting method used to configure business rules, define validations, and create calculation formulas
Business Scrip can be used to create global formulas that can be executed across different Vistex
Agribusiness applications. Business Scrip functionality can be used to set up formulas in the Report
Workbench transaction within Vistex Agribusiness. The Report Workbench supports different categories of
reports that can be built per user requirements, such as core reports, metrics report, activity report, merged
report, etc. Vistex formulas using Business Script provides user the flexibility to add business logic to
manipulate field variables, apply calculations, depending on user defined conditions when executing the
report.Mass Confirmation
Using Mass Confirmation feature users can confirm massively multiple task orders from different terrains,

Farm Management Module
Vistex Farm Management is a complete field-to-fork integrated business solution, designed to support every
aspect of farm operations. With tools that cover the day-to-day needs of field managers, supervisors and
workers, Farm Management covers the crop lifecycle, growing process, compliance and harvest operations,
while providing critical data and analytics needed for senior management. No agricultural software brings
field and management closer together, enables operational efficiency as effectively, or provides as much
business insight.Field Planning
Field Planting
Represents the first agricultural process executed on the fields (preparing the land and planting the seeds
on the ground). The activities or tasks associated to this process are: levelling, sub soiling, plowing,
furrowing, hole-digging, sowing, pest monitoring. For short production cycles, the planting process can be
executed several times in the same season, but other medium and long production cycles it may be executed only once during the season.Crop Lifecycle Management
Planting & Growing
Planting and Growing is a process of reservations of supplies and purchase requisitions of the services
required are automatically generated with the creation of the orders.Crop Master Inspection Characteristics
An Inspection Characteristic describes what is to be inspected and defines the inspection requirements for
materials, parts, and products. To simplify and standardize inspection planning, the user can define master
inspection characteristics that you can use in various task lists. (Refer to SAP QM module for more
information).Task Orders Scheduling
Task orders are scheduled, created (released), confirmed (executed) and technically closed (completed).
At the end of the crop season after harvesting, the orders are settled according to the settlement rules
defined in the system.Work Order Workbench
Farming Work Order Workbench allows to confirm task Orders or activities and control of the orders. The
Work Order offers the option to massively confirm the quantities of supplies and work centers for the tasks
executed on the fields.Nursery Workbench
The Nursery Process Workbench allows the complete production of the initial seeds to the useful palmgoing through four (4) productive processes: Garden production to generate clusters, Seeds Factory
production to generate useful germinated seeds, Pre-Nursery production to generate seedlings and Nursery

Nursery Order Workbench
This workbench is a collection of the data pertaining to the seed production. The crop seeds and crop
process assigned to the terrain based on the specific validity dates. The confirmation of the work orders
provides traceability of the activities in this process. The Nursery Workbench is designed to track
production costs of plant tissue culture and plant nursery processes. This setup gives the user full view
of all the current processes and batches under production.Irrigation Workbench
The Irrigation Workbench allows users to set the irrigation priority and assign irrigation, drainage and
humidity requirements.Irrigation Requirements Monitor Workbench
This workbench monitors irrigation activities and defines information pertaining to the land such as the
station, measurement equipment, crop, terrain, evaporation, rainfall, moisture, etc.Irrigation Infrastructure Workbench
Irrigation Infrastructure is the collection of the data required for the equipment (pump or weather station)
such as measurements and terrains.Farming Process Workbench
Farming Process workbench is a complete planning tool for scheduling various farming activities such as
but not limited to machinery, labor, supplies, seeding, harvesting, growing, land planting, etc.Farming Process Workbench
Farming process allows users creating tasks orders pertaining to the crop growth (e.g. plowing, sowing,
fertilizing, etc.)Chemical Application Workbench
This workbench allows tracking of the chemical applications and fertilization solutions used on land along
with regulatory compliance.Chemical Application Tracking Workbench
This process allows the execution of the chemical application operation including the confirmation, closing
and settlement of the work orders. It also tracks all chemical substances used agricultural exploitation in
compliance with the EPA regulations.The Agribusiness Solutions offers three main processes for the Chemical Application Tracking operation:
C.A.P. Chemical Application Planning: helps to plan chemical application for a long period of time. C.A.S. Chemical Application Surveillance: helps to keep track of all chemicals applied into a land (fields) for complying with the EPA regulations. C.A.R. Agri Planning
Agri Planning is used to plan the production of a certain crop intosegregated into the various periods (e.g. monthly) in combination with the demand quantity. Users are
able to assign different version of the planning to the demand. It allows planning the crop and assigned
terrain(s) for the upcoming years. The solution allows to automatically calculating the budget drilling down
by terrain, field, and block.Mass Farming Process Order Creation Workbench
The solution allows users to mass process Farming Process Orders, Schedule Task Orders, Schedule & Create Task Orders, Unplanned Orders and Farming Orders Confirmation. The Mass Farming Process OrderCreation is used to generate agricultural process orders. A Process Order is a logical setup of tasks that
need to take place in a specific plan for the correct execution of a process. These processes are defined in
the Process Cycle Workbench. From standard agricultural practices ABS uses Planting, Growing and Harvest
processes.Reporting Workbench
The solution offers numerous out of the box reports such as Terrain Reports, Quality Sampling Evaluation
Report, Harvest Scheduling Report, Produce Receipt Report, Cost Report and Measurement DocumentReport.
Planning Cost Report
The planning cost report is used to display produce planned production cost by terrain within a specific
time period. Master data that allows the processes to take place are materials, terrains, crop master, crop
cycle and variants.Crop Groups
Crop Groups feature allows users to group crops, seasons, years and terrains in the Agri Planning Demand
in order to filter the demands during the creation of the planning simulation.Employee Master
Employee master is data related to an employee and the job functions employee performances. Systemstores employment type and all records related to the employee and tasks employees perform, along with
attendance and activity.Functionality allows easy and efficient assign area to the harvester, calculate wage based on the employee
performed tasks, close and settle orders. Allocate general and transportation costs.Team Master
This functionality allows assigning employees to different teams for a particular division which helps define
and manage critical data of a farm. Supervisor/manager can view and /or assign employees to a specific
team/division or terrain/block for the specific timeframe along with the wage based on the work performed.

check crop assignment and also checks for harvest orders and fertilization order plans to a specific block.
Some benefits of this functionality is ability to use forecasting in tandem with harvest, to calculating of rate
wage for every harvester; forecasting vs planned vs actual cost reporting. Optimizing harvesting production
rates; providing for flexibility so that the plans can be changed to take advantage of new information or
changing situations.Estate Operations
This new functionality allows users schedule, create and process task/work orders and assigning them with
terrain, crop and the processing group aligning equipment usage and material consumption based on which
employees will be later paid.The benefits of this functionality are scheduling and allocation of the labor along with the area and a wage
base and generation of the reports.Terrain based Calendar
Users can now view terrain/blocks by month along with displaying working days vs non-working days and
holidays. This functionality displaying harvest plan and harvest intervals for terrain and crop in reporting
view. Asset Management Tree Inventory Pools and Inventory Pools reportTree Inventory pool allows users to track number of Trees by each block/field and age of the trees. This
feature will also provide a way to capture Planted trees, fallen/cut trees, Harvested Trees etc. This would
help the system to keep inventory of Trees by each block/field.Terrain upload from Excel
This new transaction enables upload of the excel Field data into Agribusiness Business to create
Terrains/fields.
