Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK) sebagai lembaga pengawas sektor jasa keuangan, memiliki peranan penting dalam

memperkokoh stabilitas sistem keuangan dan meningkatkan peran sektor jasa keuangan dalam mengakselerasi

pertumbuhan ekonomi nasional dan mendukung pemerataan pembangunan. Peran OJK tersebut dituangkan dalam

pelaksanaan tugas dan wewenangnya yang senantiasa mengedepankan prinsip-prinsip tata kelola yang baik, yang

meliputi independensi, akuntabilitas, pertanggungjawaban, transparansi, dan kewajaran.

Selama 2019, OJK meningkatkan sinergi dan kolaborasi yang efektif dengan seluruh pemangku kepentingan untuk

membangun semangat optimisme bersama dalam menghadapi berbagai tantangan demi terciptanya akselerasi pertumbuhan yang berkelanjutan.

As supervisor of the financial services sector, Indonesia Financial Services Authority (OJK) plays an essential role in terms

of strengthening financial system stability and increasing the contribution of the financial services sector to accelerate

national economic growth and support equitable development. OJK"s role is implemented through the execution of

duties and authority, which ceaselessly prioritise the principles of good governance, namely independence, accountability,

responsibility, transparency and fairness.

In 2019, OJK increased synergy and effective collaboration with all stakeholders in order to build a spirit of broad optimism

in the face of various challenges, thereby creating and accelerating sustainable growth.

Tentang Otoritas Jasa Keuangan

About Indonesia Financial Services Authority (OJK) Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK) dibentuk berdasarkan Undang-undang Nomor 21 Tahun 2011 yang secara independen mengemban tugas mewujudkan sistem pengaturan dan pengawasan terhadap seluruh kegiatan

sektor jasa keuangan. Wewenang tugas pokok dan fungsi OJK meliputi sektor perbankan, pasar modal, dan

sektor jasa keuangan non-bank seperti Asuransi, Dana Pensiun, Lembaga Pembiayaan, dan Lembaga Jasa

Keuangan lainnya. Selain bertanggung jawab pada tataran mikroprudensial sektor jasa keuangan, OJK juga

mengemban amanat untuk melaksanakan fungsi edukasi dan perlindungan konsumen.

The Indonesian Financial Services Authority (OJK) was established in accordance with Act No. 21 of 2011 to

independently create and maintain a regulatory and supervisory system for all activities in the financial services

sector. The core tasks and function of OJK involve the banking sector, capital market and nonbank financial

industry, including insurance, pension funds, finance companies and other financial services institutions. In addition

to its microprudential mandate, OJK is also mandated with an education and consumer protection function.
