The creation of an ISIR•AftertheprocessingofaFAFSAtransactioniscomplete,theCPSproducesoutputrecordsthatshowtheinformationthestudentoriginallyprovided,theEFC,theresultsoftheeligibilitymatches,andinformationaboutanyinconsistenciesidentifiedthroughtheCPSedits.IftheCPSwasunabletocalculateanEFC,theoutputrecordwillnotshowone.•TheoutputrecordtothestudentisknownasaStudentAidReport.•TheoutputrecordtotheinstitutionslistedasthecollegesofchoiceisknownasanInstitutionalStudentInformationRecord(ISIR).

After an ISIR is produced•AftertheISIRisproduced,theISIRscanbesenttodestinationpoints(schools,servicers,andstateagencies)dailyorbyrequestusingFAAAccesstoCPSOnline.•CUNY'sdestinationpointisourTGmailbox52005.TheUniversityretrievesandsendsfilesforeachcollegeaspartofourdailybatchprocesses.•Thefilesareretrievedfromthedestinationpointandloadedintoastagingtable.Thisstagingtableisknowninourstudentinformationsystem(PeopleSoft/CUNYfirst)as"ISIRSuspense".

ISIR Load Parameters•ISIRdatamustmeetspecificparametersinordertobeloadedfromtheISIRstagingtablestoCUNYfirstFederalApplicationDatacomponent.•TheparameterscanbeviewedbyaccessingSetUpSACR>ProductRelated>FinancialAid>FileManagement>ISIRDataLoadParameters•Intheconfigurationistheinstitutionalsearchmatchcriteriaandthedifferentloadoptions.

ISIR Institutional Search Match Criteria •ThesearchmatchcriteriausedbytheUniversityiswhenanISIRisreceived,theremustbeamatchwiththeSSNandtheDOBtoloadtheISIRintotheFederalApplicationDatacomponentORtheSSNandtheLastNamemustmatchinordertoload.•IftheISIRdoesnotmatchonSSN/DOBorSSN/LastNamethenthesystemissetto"suspendrecords".

ISIR Load Option 1•Thefirstloadoptionisusedtosetuphowthesystemwillloadarecordafteritpassesthesearchmatch.•OurcurrentsetupistoloadtheISIRwith:•thecurrentdateastheeffectivedate,•theloadingoftheNSLDShistorythatisincludedintheISIRfileinCUNYfirstforaggregatepurposes,•theoptionstoaddthee-mailaddressandphonenumberinCampusCommunityofthedataisblank,•theoptiontoalsoupdatebio/demoinformationsuchasthecitizenship
