Michelle MezaA Message from the Outgoing Newsletter Chairman We had a great 2017-18 school year in Covina-Valley PTA! I really love Dr. Sheehan's #anothergreatdayincvusd because it does sum up every day in our school district. Our PTA/PTSAs have so much to be proud of last year. Each unit strived for greatness and by the descriptions of their events, they achieved it. This

CVC Chat

summarizes the amazing year that our units, council, and school district had during the 2017-18 school year. Thank you all for your service and dedication to our students!

Have a great year!

Thanks for reading, Kristin RennerA Message from the Outgoing President I would like to take this time to thank everyone who served on the Council Executive Committee this year and to all 15 of our presidents who, along with their boards, have done an AMAZING job of providing educational and fun opportunities for over 11,000 students in Covina-Valley Unified School District.

200 volunteers strong, we are abiding by National PTA's mission

for us "to make every child's potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children." It has been a privilege working with this talented, hard-working, creative, and dedicated group. I can't wait to see what's in store for next year. And with Kelley Schwedler at the helm, I know we are off to a great start!
