Change flexibility on new international tickets

Air New Zealand: Change flexibility on new international tickets

Air New Zealand is introducing change flexibility for all new international flights booked and ticketed on NZ

ticket stock (086) from 5-31 March 2020. Customers who purchase an international ticket between these dates will have the standard change

penalty waived should they need to amend their flight dates, regardless of the number of changes made.

The normal fare difference will apply should the booking class not be available at the time of rebooking.

Agents should enter an OSI with the blanket authority - AUTHNZA155057 Customers purchasing domestic tickets should consider Flexidate, Flexitime products should they be concerned about needing to change their travel plans. Standard change and refund rules will remain on all domestic tickets.

Air New Zealand capacity adjustments

Air New Zealand is making further capacity cuts to some of its Asia, Tasman and Domestic services

through to the end of June as a result of the continuing impact of coronavirus (COVID-19) on customer

demand.

Below outlines these changes:

Auckland Hong Kong

29 Mar-19 Apr will be adjusted from 7 times a week to 5 times a week

20 Apr-26 Jun will be adjusted from 7 times a week to 3 times a week

Auckland - Taipei

Mar-Apr will reduce from 4 services a week to 3 times a week May-Jun will reduce from 3 services a week to 2 times a week

Auckland - Singapore

4 May-end Jun will reduce from 14 times a week to 11 services a week.

Auckland Narita

9 Mar-end Apr will reduce from 10 times a week to 7 times a week

May-Jun will reduce from 10 times a week to 5 times a week

Domestic New Zealand

May-Jun will reduce by 2% of the network focusing on AKL-CHC/AKL-ZQN

Tasman

May-Jun will reduce by 4%

Air New Zealand will continue to monitor the situation and advise of any change to these guidelines

accordingly. These guidelines will expire as per the dates above unless further updates are communicated.
