3. Online registration process & Registration fees :

3.1 Online Registration process

Candidate needs to visit www.nmims.edu / https://nmimsnpat.in for online registration.

Candidates are requested to keep 10th roll no. / seat no. ready for initial registration. It is

mandatory to give 10th roll no. / seat no. for registration. Please go through the handouts of the specific programs for eligibility and selection process. First the candidate has to register and will get the registrartion ID on their mentioned email id. Based on the selection of the School/ Program candidates have to register for the following test categories among NMIMS-CET / NMIMS-NPAT / NMIMS-LAT - 2021. Candidates can select multiple Schools and multiple campuses. Four examination dates are available to each candidate. Candidate can can maximum 2 attempts for any category. The registration fees is based on the number of Schools selected for each test category. Test Centers are allotted on first cum first serve basis only. After the successful registration; the candidate will get options to choose the examination date/s (i.e. 27th June, 2nd July & 4th July 2021) for NMIMS-CET / NMIMS-NPAT / NMIMS-LAT test center based online test. The examination for each test category will be held on separate dates. For eg : If a Candidate has opted for BTech and BBA Programs, then he/she will appear for NMIMS-CET on one day and

NMIMS-NPAT / NMIMS-LAT on another date.

Examination date once chosen cannot be altered after successful completion of registration and payment. Candidates can choose different test centers for each examination date as per the availability of seats. Candidates who have attended test in same (NMIMS-CET / NMIMS-NPAT / NMIMS-LAT) category on any days, highest scores in same (NMIMS-CET / NMIMS-NPAT / NMIMS-NLAT) category will be considered for merit list as per choice of school & preferences given. If there are multiple / duplicate registrations, then registration for NMIMS-CET / NMIMS-NPAT / NMIMS-LAT will not be considered & registration fee will be forfeited. Candidates who have registered and paid will be considered for further selection process or merit list. Registration Fees is NON-REFUNDABLE.

4 Instruction for uploading photo:

ƒ Photos should be only in JPEG format, and dimensions should be 200 pixels tall and 150 pixels wide. Size should not exceed 200 kb. ƒ Photo should have either white or lightly colored background.

ƒ Eyes should be open and clearly visible.

ƒ Photo should have candidates face distinctly visible, straight and at the Centre. Shoulder tops should be also clear on the photo. ƒ Photographs should not be more than 6 months old. ƒ Photos where candidate is seen to be wearing cap or goggles will be rejected.

Candidate will be given option to choose one test city at the time of online registration as per exam

date selected. Selection of test center would be on real time basis. Candidate can see the real time occupany percentage, while selecting the test center city. It would be first come first serve basis.

Online registration form will be editable for restricted fields only i.e. addition in school/program,

and additions in date of examination, till the last date fo registration.

The NMIMS decision in this regards will be final.

6 Admit Card

All eligible candidates who are registered & paid the required registration fees successfully will be called for the online test. On the basis of information indicated in the Application Form, admit card for the Admission Test & the venue will be made available to the candidate as per important dates. Candidates are required to download the admit card with same log in Id and password used at the time of online registration. No candidate, without admit card or without the photograph on the admit card will be permitted to appear for the test. Candidate must carry any one requisite original ID proof along with photocopy of the same while appearing for NMIMS CET / NMIMS NPAT / NMIMS-LAT - 2021.

7. Structure of the Test - NMIMS-CET / NMIMS-NPAT / NMIMS-LAT - 2021

The NMIMS-CET / NMIMS-NPAT / NMIMS-LAT - 2021 test would be an objective type multiple- choice test. (There will be NO descriptive type of questions & NO negative marking). NMIMS CET Exam structure: (For Engineering & Pharmacy) Exam is based on Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics / Biology of 10+2 curriculum. Pharmacy admission test is based on PCM / PCB combination as selected at the time of online registration Test will be conducted for 120 minutes and will comprise of 5 major section as follows:

NMIMS-LAT Exam structure :

Test will be conducted for 120 minutes; each section will have 30 questions carrying 1 mark each. There shall be negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer. These questions would be divided across the following 5 subjects: The NMIMS-LAT Exam will comprise of 5 major sections as follows:

7 Guidelines for physically challenged candidates

Candidates who wish to request for assistance must fill in the details in the online application while

registering. The candidate must upload their Disability Certificate at the time of online registration.

Any request, application and/or certificate received after the closure of Registration will not be

accepted and the candidate will have to appear for the test without any assistance in spite of their special status. Each application will be reviewed on a case-to-case basis and appropriate assistance will be made available at the test center. Candidates should carry disability certificate at the time of test.

8 Refund Rules: The Schedule of refund of fees will be as follows as per UGC rule October 2018. It is

applicable for all programmes covered under NMIMSCET / NMIMS NPAT / NMIMS-LAT - 2021. The Schedule of refund of fees will be as follows:

If a student chooses to withdraw from the program of study in which he / she is enrolled, the institution

concerned shall follow the following five-tier system for the refund of fees remitted by the student.

9. Important instructions:

If at any stage, it is found that a candidate does not satisfy the eligibility criteria or the information

furnished by him/her in the application form is incorrect, his/her admission to the course, even if selected, will stand cancelled and fees will be forfeited. Canvassing in any form for admission will disqualify the candidate. For cancellation/ withdrawal of admission: Withdrawal / cancellation means voluntary withdrawal / cancellation by candidate for any reason. Candidate should email at admissioncancellation@nmims.edu, the soft copy of admission cancellation form duly filled and signed (form available on www.nmims.edu & https://www.nmims.edu/students/, fee paid receipt copy & cancelled cheque (personal account only).

NMIMS has full right to disqualify a candidate at any stage of admission process if found ineligible.
