The graduate program in Astronomy and Astrophysics is offered by the Department of Astronomy and Astrophysics
Leading to the Doctor of Philosophy.

The Department may admit students to the Master of Science as preliminary phase before proceeding to the PhD.

My primary research interest in theoretical astrophysics is the study of the structure and evolution of planets, accretion discs and stars

The fluid dynamics of these objects is a topic I particularly enjoy exploring, through a combination of analytical and numerical simulation work

Students interested in a broad first year introduction to the physical sciences which can lead into our Astronomy and Astrophysics majors and specialist programs are encouraged to consider the Vic One physical sciences stream, as well as the UofT Engineering Science program
