What is the maximum daily dose of Claforan?
Premixed CLAFORAN Injection is intended for IV administration after thawing. The maximum daily dosage should not exceed 12 grams. If C. trachomatis is a suspected pathogen, appropriate anti-chlamydial coverage should be added, because cefotaxime sodium has no activity against this organism.
Can I take Claforan after reconstitution?

What are the side effects of Claforan?
Claforan may cause serious side effects. Call your doctor at once if you have: severe stomach pain, diarrhea that is watery or bloody (even if it occurs months after your last dose); easy bruising, unusual bleeding, pale skin, cold hands and feet. rash, itching.
