Dear Parent/Guardian,

RE: Year 11 Afterschool Intervention Schedule 2020/21 challenging for students to achieve their target grades. You will appreciate, Year 11 is a crucial period for students as they prepare for their GCSE examinations time to help all students meet their potential. The school has therefore arranged for compulsory

afterschool intervention sessions to take place on a weekly basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to

ensure your child can achieve his full potential in his GCSEs. Intervention sessions will begin from Monday 7th September 2020 with the sessions finishing at the following times.

Monday and Wednesday 4:10pm

Tuesday 5:10pm

Friday 4:00pm

In the unlikely event of a cancellation, you will be notified via text message. We have enclosed the intervention sessions in this letter which your son will be required to attend. Your support will be greatly appreciated as this is a partnership between the school and parents.

Please ensure that his attendance is consistent as the sessions will ensure that he is fully prepared

for his forthcoming GCSE Summer Examinations.

There will be times when additional classes will be provided, including Saturday and holiday

masterclass classes, for Y11 to catch up on their studies. We will send further information in regard

to these sessions in due course.
