Bring your smiles as photographers will be here at the school to take student pictures. All students should have

their pictures taken this day, as they will receive a Student ID Card, which is a great form of picture ID as well as

gives students a discount on public transit. Photos will also appear in the yearbook.

Students no longer need to prepay for their photo packages. All students will be photographed on this day with

Is there Medical

Information we Should

Know About?

If your child has any health care needs that

require support at school, including the administration of any medications, medical forms must be completed.

The school

cannot assist with any medical intervention unless these forms are completed. Please contact the school as soon as possible to complete a form. This procedure complies with the policy regarding the health care needs of children at school. If there are any questions, please contact the school.

Attendance/late/early dismissal

If your child is away from school, please ensure that you report the absence via the parent portal and click the 'Report as Absence'. Select your child's name from the drop-down menu. Enter the date of their absence or late, as well as any other relevant details. This is the preferred method to report an absence. If your child is going to be late or requires an early dismissal, please write that in the text box too. Please ensure that your child signs in when they arrive to school late or sign out if they need to leave early.

Alternately, you may call the school at 604

-465-7141 or pop by the office to report an absence as well. Please ensure you spell the student"s last name or provide their student number. Yearbooks will be on sale in late September or early October. Please watch for announcements if you are interested in purchasing.

Industrial Alliance Pacific Insurance offers

insurance coverage for students. For full details and to obtain insurance forms and /or quotes, visit their website www.iapkidsplus.com/protect . This optional insurance is very beneficial should your child be injured.
