Western Power's desi

Case studies were presented

to Western Power

Itlustratrng the problems being faced

by local

Governmcnts. and recommendations were

tabled by WAlGA to address systemic issues_

Western Power acknowledged that their

behaviour is currently unacceptable, and their

CEO gave a commitment to address systemic

problems

A new forum with representatives from WALGA,

IPWEA and Western Power General Managers

has been developed as a result of the meeling, so that each identified issue may be more effic ienUy resolved. A commitment was also given to immediately look at the current Western

Power policy requiromcnts and funding regime

for undergrounding power as part of road construction and maintenance activities.
